Who We Are
About the National Road Safety Board
The National Road Safety Board (NRSB) is India’s national statutory advisory body for road safety, constituted by the Central Government under Section 215B(1) of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, and functioning under the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. The Board advises the Central and State Governments on measures to prevent road crashes and reduce deaths and injuries on the country’s roads.
